There’s something magical about the villages of Santorini — the way they tumble down the hillside in sun-washed layers, all blues, creams, and weathered whites. Echo is my latest piece in the Echoes of the Aegean collection, and it captures that sense of soft serenity and timeless beauty.
This print is inspired by the view looking up the hillside of the village of Oia. I didn’t want to capture every detail — instead, I’ve focused on mood, colour, and atmosphere. Painted in my signature loose, expressive style, Echo lets the shapes of the village emerge gradually, like a memory you’re just starting to recall.
The colours are quiet and earthy: white (of course!), warm sandy browns, stunning blues, soft greys, and the occasional deep shadow. It’s intentionally understated — a gentle impression that brings the Aegean into your space without shouting.
Whether you’ve visited Greece, dream of going, or simply love the calming palette and feel of coastal life, Echo is designed to bring a little moment of stillness into your home.
This piece pairs beautifully with the rest of the Echoes of the Aegean series, or stands alone as a peaceful reminder of sunlight, sea air, and the charm of slow travel.
