I’m so excited to share a new painting with you – meet Cove Glow. This piece has been brewing in my mind for a while, inspired by that magical moment when the sun begins to set and everything is bathed in golden-pink light. I was thinking about those tucked-away places along the coast – the kind you might stumble upon at low tide – and how peaceful and glowing they can feel when you look out toward the shore.
Cove Glow is full of movement and softness, painted with loose, flowing brushstrokes in peach, cream, blush pink, lime, and emerald green. I wanted it to feel modern and free, like the colours just drifted into place. There's something really joyful about this palette – it feels alive and gentle at the same time.
It’s part of my Joyful Collection, a group of works that aim to capture little pockets of peace and beauty. This one, to me, feels like a breath of fresh sea air. I hope it brings that same light and calm to wherever it ends up hanging.
You can now find Cove Glow available as a fine art print on smooth archival paper or as a stretched canvas – both in a square format that suits so many different spaces. As always, I’d love to know what you think!
