Be Strong And Courageous Lion Watercolour Print - I am so blessed to share this “Be Strong and Courageous” Lion Watercolour Print, a piece that holds deep meaning in my own walk of faith. As I painted this majestic lion in delicate layers of grey and white watercolour, I reflected on the mighty words of Joshua 1:9. There is something powerful about the courage and authority that a lion represents, and it felt fitting to pair this image with the timeless encouragement of Scripture. The verse, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” has carried me through so many seasons of challenge and change, and I pray it does the same for you.

Every brushstroke was guided by a desire to capture the quiet yet commanding presence of the lion, a symbol of bold faith and trust in God’s steadfast love. The monochrome palette gives the piece a timeless feel, making it a beautiful fit for almost any space — whether you hang it in your living room, your bedroom, or even a prayer corner where you gather your thoughts with the Lord. The simplicity of grey and white allows the message to shine through, unburdened and clear, reminding us daily that we are never alone as we step forward in faith.

This print makes a wonderful gift for a loved one who may need a reminder of their God-given strength, or for someone starting a new chapter where courage is required. It is printed on high-quality, archival-grade paper, designed to remain vibrant and true to its message for years to come. Framing this piece is effortless thanks to its standard size, making it a cherished addition to any home or office.

As I created this work, I kept coming back to the way Joshua was called to lead with courage, trusting God’s promises even when the future was uncertain. In my own life, I have found such comfort in knowing that I do not face trials alone, but stand strong through God’s power and provision. I hope that every time you see this lion, you remember those same truths: that you are brave, that you are chosen, and that you are upheld by an unshakable promise.

Let this Lion Watercolour Print bring courage, calm, and an anchoring sense of purpose to your space. May it serve as a daily declaration that the Lord goes before you, strengthening you with His perfect peace. Surround yourself with this scripture, and be reminded again and again that you are called to be strong and courageous because the God of all creation is with you, now and always.
