'Paint It Black' Cow Wall Art Print Countryside Wall Art - 'Paint It Black' is cow wall art for anyone who loves the quiet, stoic beauty of the British countryside and the animals that make it what it is — the one who slows down when they pass a field of cows and finds themselves staring for far longer than they should. This is farm animal print art with real character and soul — farm house home decor that brings the charm, warmth and gentle humour of country life into your home in the most beautifully expressive watercolour style.

I grew up with a deep connection to the countryside — my grandfather lived in rural Poland and summers spent there were filled with the sights, sounds and smells of farm life. Fresh milk from local farms. Animals everywhere. The particular pleasure of being around cows — their stoic, unhurried nature, the extraordinary variety of their black and white markings, the way they look at you with those enormous, calm eyes and seem completely unbothered by absolutely everything. I even had the privilege of milking a cow once while visiting family who owned a farm — an experience I've never forgotten. I have always loved cows and this painting was my chance to celebrate everything I love about them.

Painted in loose, expressive watercolour with confident brushwork, spatters and beautiful inky drips — this black and white cow portrait captures both the bold graphic quality of those striking markings and the gentle, rather magnificent character of the animal itself. This countryside wall art works beautifully as farm house home decor in a kitchen, a dining room, a hallway or a living room — anywhere that needs a generous dose of countryside charm and a piece of farm animal print art that makes you smile. Printed on luxurious 230gsm archival fine art paper that preserves every brushstroke and tonal shift beautifully. Available framed and unframed in a range of sizes.
