There's a particular kind of stillness that only happens under a truly dark sky. No streetlights, no glow from a nearby town, just an endless stretch of stars. I find it genuinely awe-inspiring every time, and Isaiah 40:26 is the verse that always comes to mind when I'm standing under one.
What gets me about this verse is the scale of it. We're talking about a God who created every single star in the sky, who has named each one, and who hasn't lost track of a single one of them. And yet that same God knows us, individually, by name too.
I wanted this scripture verse poster to capture that feeling — a deep, richly toned night sky scattered with stars, with soft silhouetted foliage framing the edges, like looking up from somewhere quiet and a little wild. The colours are deep navy and teal, layered to give a real sense of depth and vastness.
I think we all need a reminder sometimes of just how big God is, and how that bigness isn't distant or cold. It's the same power and attentiveness that knows the number of stars in the sky, and knows every detail of our lives too.
If you love a clear night sky as much as I do, I hope this print brings a little of that same wonder into your home.
