'Horse Friends' 2 Horses Art Print - 'Horse Friends' is a watercolour horse print for anyone who finds these extraordinary creatures as captivating and beautiful as I do — the one who stops at a field fence and simply cannot bring themselves to walk away. This is horse portrait art with real warmth and emotional depth — cottage wall art that captures the quiet, unspoken bond between two horses in the most beautifully expressive way.

I have loved horses since I was little — they were one of the first subjects I ever painted and they have never lost their hold on my imagination. I find them breathtakingly beautiful and, I'll be honest, just a little bit scary too. I tried horse riding for a while and discovered fairly quickly that I was absolutely terrible at it — so these days I admire them from a respectful distance and channel all that love into painting them instead! This watercolour horse print was painted in loose, expressive watercolour on watercolour paper — a minimal natural palette of creams, warm browns and soft whites letting the horses' faces and their quiet closeness do all the talking. The soft feathered brushstrokes capture that particular quality of stillness and gentle connection that makes horses so extraordinary to be around — that sense of emotional intelligence and quiet grace that stops you in your tracks every single time.

Now available framed and ready to hang, 'Horse Friends' brings that same warmth and timeless beauty into your home in the most beautifully presented way. This horse print framed works beautifully as country home decor in a living room, hallway, bedroom or study — anywhere that needs a touch of natural warmth, quiet beauty and the gentle reminder that companionship is one of life's greatest gifts. Printed on luxurious 230gsm archival fine art paper that preserves every brushstroke and tonal shift beautifully. Available framed and unframed in a range of sizes.
