Rest In The Lord And Wait Patiently For Him Bible Verse About Patience - Waiting is one of the hardest things we're asked to do, isn't it? In a world that moves so fast, the invitation to simply rest and wait patiently feels almost countercultural. And yet that's exactly what Psalm 37:7 asks of us.

"Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him." — Psalm 37:7

This scripture wall art print pairs that gentle, grounding verse with a beautiful watercolour image of stacked pebbles beside a softly lit body of water. The stones are balanced, steady, and unhurried — a perfect visual metaphor for what it looks like to rest in God rather than striving in our own strength. The soft blues, greys, and warm sandy tones give the whole piece a calm, meditative quality that feels genuinely lovely to live with.

I love this verse because it doesn't just tell us to wait — it tells us to rest while we wait. There's a real difference between anxious waiting and peaceful trust, and Psalm 37:7 points us towards the latter. It's a reminder that God's timing is worth trusting, even when the waiting feels long.

This bible verse about patience sits beautifully in a bedroom, living room, home office, or prayer space — anywhere you need a gentle daily reminder to breathe, let go, and trust. It also makes a wonderfully thoughtful gift for someone walking through a season of waiting — a health journey, a job search, a relationship, or simply a chapter of life that requires more patience than feels comfortable.

Available in a range of sizes and finishes to suit your space.

I hope this print brings a little stillness and trust into your home on the days when waiting feels hardest.
