Every Good And Perfect Gift Is From Above James 1:17 Christian Wall Art - This James 1:17 print is one of those pieces I created from a place of awe and thankfulness. The verse — “Every good and perfect gift is from above” — is one that speaks so deeply to me. It's a simple truth, yet one that grounds us again and again in God's goodness. I wanted this piece to capture not just the words, but the peace and reverence that flow from them.

At the heart of the design is a gentle white dove, a symbol of the Holy Spirit and peace, tenderly holding a single delicate flower in its beak. To me, that flower represents the gifts we receive — sometimes big, sometimes small — but always perfect in His timing. I’ve arranged the words of the verse to curve with the dove’s body, allowing Scripture and image to blend into one flowing prayer of gratitude.

I chose a deep, calming navy blue as the background. It reminds me of still nights and quiet prayer — moments when we become most aware of the blessings we've been given. The contrast of the pure white dove against the dark blue allows the message to shine brightly, just like God's light in our lives.

Whether you place it in your living room, your child’s nursery, your kitchen, or your study, this print invites a moment of quiet reflection. It reminds us to pause and say, “Thank You, Lord,” for the blessings that surround us — the ones we notice, and the ones we sometimes overlook.

This piece is printed on high-quality paper, with careful attention to colour and detail, so that it stays beautiful for years to come. I offer it in a variety of sizes to suit different spaces and needs — whether you want a focal point or a gentle accent of Scripture.

This also makes a lovely gift — especially for a new baby, a baptism, or a birthday. It’s a sweet and meaningful way to bless someone and remind them of the goodness of God in every season of life.

I pray this print brings peace into your home, and that every time you see it, you’re reminded of how deeply loved and provided for you truly are. Every good and perfect gift really is from above — and that includes the people around us, the moments of joy, and the beauty in each new day.
