‘Colours Of The Field’ Abstract Meadow Print - ‘Colours of the Field’ is a vibrant, energetic art print that captures the exuberance and joy found in nature’s most radiant moments. Inspired by the sight of a sunlit meadow alive with blooms, this artwork brings together colour, movement, and light in a way that celebrates the beauty of the natural world. The original painting was hand painted by me in oils, using expressive brushstrokes and a lively palette of pinks, oranges, yellows, and hints of duck egg blue to reflect the boundless energy of a flower-filled field.

The feeling behind this painting is one of exuberance. I wanted to capture that uplifting moment when the sun touches a meadow, making every flower glow brighter, and the whole scene feels alive with possibility. This piece embodies that fleeting sense of joy and freedom that comes from being immersed in nature, where colour dances before your eyes and fills your spirit with light.

This modern abstract meadow print is designed to be both a striking statement and a source of daily inspiration. The vibrant florals in the lower half balance beautifully with the gentle duck egg blue sky above, creating harmony within the energetic composition. Each colour has been chosen to spark delight — the vivid pinks and oranges bring warmth and cheer, the yellow suggests sunlight and optimism, while the cooler sky tones anchor the piece with calm. Together they create a mood that is celebratory, hopeful, and full of life.

‘Colours of the Field’ comes in a variety of sizes to suit any space, making it a versatile addition to your home. It can be styled as a bold centrepiece above a sofa or bed, where its lively palette will immediately lift the room, or as part of a gallery wall where it adds freshness and vitality. In a dining area or hallway, it creates a welcoming sense of warmth, while in a workspace it brings in energy and creativity.

This print also makes a thoughtful gift. For someone who loves flowers and nature, it offers a lasting reminder of their beauty. For those moving into a new home, it brings a joyful burst of colour that sets a positive tone. And for anyone going through a time of growth or renewal, it symbolises hope, exuberance, and the beauty of new beginnings.

My work has always been rooted in colour, and in this piece I poured all of that passion into creating something uplifting and life-affirming. I believe that art should do more than decorate a wall — it should bring energy into a space, inspire joy, and remind us of the beauty that surrounds us. ‘Colours of the Field’ is about celebrating those moments where the world feels most alive, and sharing that joy through art.

Whether for yourself or as a gift, this piece will bring colour, warmth, and vitality to your home.
