'Among the Toadstools' - Hedgehog & Toadstool Watercolour Print – A Whimsical Woodland Moment

This gentle woodland scene was painted to capture one of those quiet, heartwarming encounters you might stumble upon in a storybook forest. Nestled beside a toadstool, this little hedgehog sits peacefully amongst soft moss and wild greenery—a scene that celebrates the magic of nature’s small, hidden moments.

Painted in delicate watercolours, each brushstroke brings a sense of softness and charm to the composition. The hedgehog’s quills, the curve of the toadstool, and the dappled forest light were all layered with care to evoke warmth and wonder. It’s a piece that speaks to curiosity, calm, and the quiet joy of the great outdoors.

Whether it’s for a nursery, reading corner, or woodland-themed room, this print is a lovely way to add a touch of nature-inspired magic to your space. It pairs beautifully with other animal prints or stands sweetly on its own.

Printed on smooth, 230gsm paper using archival inks, this artwork retains all the gentle textures and subtleties of the original painting. A thoughtful gift for nature lovers, children, or anyone who finds comfort in woodland scenes.
