- Damage: Sometimes damage occurs during transport: if this happens, please email me photos of the damaged item and I will either refund or replace it if possible.
- Cancellation / Returns: You may cancel your order or return your merchandise up to 14 days within receipt for a refund of the purchase price. You will be responsible for the cost of the return postage. The items should reach me in the same condition i sent them to you of course and i would highly suggest you get insured and recorded shipping if you plan to send something back to me. Once I receive your returned item I will issue a refund.

There is something genuinely funny about ducks — that imperious waddle, that slightly baffled expression, the way they go about their day with such complete self-importance. I painted this in watercolour on watercolour paper and the inspiration was simply my genuine love of ducks. I find them hilarious. But beyond the comedy there is real beauty in them too — and it's the colours that fascinate me most. Look at that little greeny blue iridescence on the mallard's head on the right. That lovely jewel-like colour sitting against all those warm creamy whites and soft tawny browns — it's such a beautiful combination and I had so much fun trying to capture it. The loose, layered watercolour technique suits them perfectly — the way the washes blend and bloom mirrors the soft, fluid quality of their plumage beautifully.
The three ducks have such different personalities — the two white ones deep in conversation on the left, the mallard standing slightly apart on the right with that characteristic air of quiet dignity. There's a story in this print and I think that's what makes people love it. This duck print works beautifully as countryside kitchen decor, in a hallway, a living room or anywhere that needs a touch of gentle countryside charm and a good dose of character.
